Returns

While we hope that you’re always delighted with your order, we understand that there are occasions when you may want to return items. If you do wish to return an item you are entitled to an exchange, a credit or a full refund (excluding delivery costs).

Returns policy

Linear Standby Belts is more than happy to exchange or refund goods purchased online for up to 14 days of receipt, provided goods are returned in their original, unused condition with the original packaging and tags.

All undamaged correctly returned products will be refunded to the original purchaser's credit card within 7 days.

We will reimburse postage for damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items only.
We reserve the right to refuse a returned product that is damaged by the recipient due to lack of care.

How to make a return

Contact our team at info@linearbelts.com with your order number, contact details and include whether you would like a refund, credit or exchange.

Once we have received the returned products we will email you to notify you of your exchange, refund or credit entitlement.

Goods must be are returned to our New Zealand address at your own expense, unless the item is faulty (in which case we will arrange shipping for you).

Please ensure all items are packaged securely and are returned to us by courier with a tracking number. Please note that Linear Standby Belts is not responsible for the damage or loss of items being returned.

Exchanges

You can exchange goods within 30 days of purchase. If you wish to exchange an item please contact us as soon as possible to discuss. You can reserve another item for exchange for an item with a different dollar value and we will credit or debit your card to match the difference.

If the same style is being exchanged for a different size or colour, once we receive your return we will send your new item/s free of charge.

Credits

If you wish to return your item for a credit, contact us to let us know. We can apply credits to your Linear Standby Belts account and when you make your next purchase you will be able to deduct the value of the credit from the total value on the checkout page. Please note credit notes are valid for six months from the date of issue.

Refunds

If you've requested a refund, this can be credited back to the original purchases credit card and will exclude delivery costs, unless the item is faulty. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account.

 

Faulty goods or incorrect items

Our Linear Standby Belts team takes great care checking all orders to ensure the goods you receive meet our quality standards and that we are sending you what you asked for. However, if you do receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us to arrange a replacement with free delivery.

Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Please be aware that general wear and tear of products does not constitute a refund. Linear Standby Belts will where possible replace or repair any goods deemed to be faulty, if purchased within the last 6 months. If we are unable to do this, a credit note or refund will be provided.

We do not accept exchange or refund requests for special product mark downs, samples, sale items or items that are no longer stocked unless the goods are unknowingly defective.

We collect your information in order to improve our customer’s shopping experience and to communicate with our customers about our products, services and promotions. We collect information from you to complete a transaction, register as a member, sign up to receive email communications from us, or participate in a competition/promotion/survey.

We may maintain a record of products you have looked at or purchased in order to enhance your shopping experience and make it easier and faster for you. 

All email communications you receive from us will allow you to unsubscribe on the spot, meaning you will no longer receive communications from us unless it is regarding a transaction or security issue. You are also able to email us at info@linearbelts.com or edit your account details on our website at any time if you wish to stop communications from us.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. However, we do use other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf, such as delivering packages, sending mail and emails and processing payments. They will have access to the minimum amount of your personal information needed to perform these services, but we will not authorise them to use your information for other purposes.

Where there is a legal obligation to do so, Linear Standby Belts may disclose your information to any relevant regulatory body. In addition, we may provide statistics with personal identifiers removed about our customers, readers, sales, traffic patterns and related site functions to reputable third parties.

Online terms and conditions

This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of Linear Standby Belts’ Online Service (the Service) including shopping and participation in promotions run by Linear Standby Belts. You can access this Agreement at any time from the bottom of any page of the site.

By accessing, browsing or placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by the associated terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability (Terms & Conditions).

No one under the age of 13 years is allowed to provide any personal information. Minors under the age of 18 years are prohibited from making purchases, including subscriptions, on the Service.

We reserve the right to:

• make changes to our site and these terms and conditions, product descriptions and prices and such changes will take effect from the time they are published on this site.
• cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received.
• fulfil orders subject to availability of stock
• take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide.

Orders

When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, credit/debit card, phone and address details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of our order.

You will be asked to register as a subscriber of Linear Standby Belts, which means your shipping address details can be saved for the next time you make a purchase. You can remove yourself from the email list by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email you receive from us, or by emailing our team. 

After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.

Should there be an issue with your order, one of our team will contact you either by phone or email. 

 

Products and purchasing

Price, currency & taxes

All prices on this website are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the 15% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), we do not accept payments in other currencies. Linear Standby Belts reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice.
Linear Standby Belts does not guarantee the price of any item listed on this website until your order has been processed. Whilst Linear Standby Belts takes steps to ensure the price and details of products listed are correct, if they are incorrect, Linear Standby Belts reserves the right to cancel the order and refund.

Payment and security

Products displayed on the site can be purchased using secure online Mastercard and Visa transaction facility. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfilment.
Any orders received by Linear Standby Belts through this website constitute offers and are subject to acceptance by Linear Standby Belts in its absolute discretion. Orders will not be despatched until payment is received in full. 

Product availability

Offers on special product mark downs or sale items are available until stocks sell out. All orders are subject to availability of stock and confirmation of the order price.

Product pictures

All colours of products are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour and size specifications. Colours may appear slightly different via this website due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings.

 

Your order

Changing an order

Unfortunately no changes to orders may be made after they have been submitted. If you are unhappy with your purchase once you receive it, you may return it to us. See below for further information regarding returns and exchanges.

Confirmation and tracking

Once your order has been received and processed we will send you an email stating that your order and payment have been accepted and dispatched. If you have chosen the express courier option you will receive a tracking number so that you have the ability to track your order online.
